Formerly a member of URBAN RENEWAL and MISANTHROPES, Jay is a prolific songwriter and composes a large part of OFFBEATS music. His songs reflect Blues, Rock, Ska, and Funk influences which are apparent in his Guitar playing as well. When not playing with OFFBEATS, you can find Jay working at CCRMA,("CCRMA") the computer-music research center at Stanford University. In addition to the OFFBEATS CD, Jay has several other production and engineering credits for projects released on DEXTER RECORDS.
